The BarCamp ASEAN is the biggest Tech Conference and Startup Expo in Cambodia for tech startups and industry, developers, investors, innovators, creative & content creators, entrepreneurs and IT professionals.
The event will take place from Saturday October 12 to Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
During the event IT professionals, developers, technologists, investors, creators, and entrepreneurs convene to collaborate, share information and learn about the latest in digital technologies and infrastructure, including FinTech, AgriTech, EdTech, HealthTech, TravelTech,GovTech,BioTech,Big Data, Robotics, AI, Cloud Computing, Hardware, IoT and the ASEAN tech startup ecosystem.
We are looking for speaker submissions for the following areas:
- Entrepreneurship and Startup Experience
- Investment, Pitching, Business Model
- Multimedia and Creative Design
- Cyber Security and Privacy
- IOT, Hardware and Robotics
- Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, Search Engines
- DevOps, Cloud Computing, Big Data
- Technologies for Education, Tourism, Agriculture, Financial, Health Care, Government and more
TechTalks, Presentation and Hand-on Workshop:
TechTalk:
TechTalk slots are 15 minutes long plus 5 minutes for questions and answers. The idea is that participants will use the sessions to get an idea of the work of others and are able to follow up in more detail in break-out areas, where they discuss more and start to work together.
Hand-on Workshop:
Speakers can also sign up for either a 1-hour long or a 2-hours hands-on workshop sessions. Longer sessions are possible in principle. Please tell us the proposed length of your session at the time of submission.
Presentation:
Speakers can sign up for a 50 minutes presentation with 10 minutes Q&Aworkshop sessions. Longer sessions are possible in principle. Please tell us the proposed length of your session at the time of submission.
Developer and Creative Rooms/Track Hosts
Get in touch early if you plan to organize a developer or creative room at the event. BarCamp ASEAN is also looking for team members who are interested to co-host and moderate tracks. If you would like to sign up, please contact us via info@barcampcambodia.org
Investor/Pitching Room
If you plan to have a track for investor or startup pitch, we also welcome to co-host.
Publication
Picture, audio and video recordings during the event will be published in our online social media.If you do not wish for material from your presentation, photo or video to be published or streamed, please let us know in your submission.
Submission Guidelines:
Please propose your session as early as possible and include a description of your session proposal that is as complete as possible.
The description is of particular importance for the selection.
Sessions are accepted on an ongoing basis.
